My Work:
Cinematographer -
The film is a drama comedy in a dystopian society - which opened a large door for creativity. Comedic moments would use more fast paced camera movement, whip pans, match cuts, to be engaging and entertaining - whilst camera movement during more serious toned scenes, would be slow and still. Lighting throughout would be mostly soft, and bounced - to create a nice lighting look on the main character, to create a more inviting and welcoming feeling to the character, to assist in an audience connection.
Colour Grade -
The overall tone and palette was on the warmer side, to further enhance an audience connection to the main character - as I found a warmer tone was more inviting for this purpose. Other colours and tones were leaning towards a more neutral - as to one that is punchy and saturated, so it can feel stronger in scenes that are serious.
